ORCHIDS

Orchids are quite possibly the most numerous family of plants in the world, and Ecuador is home to nearly 4,000 species. Although small in size, the tropical location and wide range of altitudes (sea level up to 6,000 meters) provide the country with an incredible array of orchid habitat.
